Nicholas Jackson Collection. Overton-101, "50C/UNI reverse". Extremely popular with collectors due to the blundered nature of this famous variety, UNI was punched in a quarter around the reverse where the denomination was subsequently overpunched into the die. Delightful silver-grey surfaces trend toward golden-chartreuse closer to the obverse periphery, and occupies nearly the entire reverse. CAC loves the quality and the coin is obviously fully original, but an old scratch curves into the obverse left field and must be referenced.
