What a fantastic looking GEM O-101. Ranking high on the Condition Census, this exceptional coin is one of the FINEST KNOWN of the variety. The eye appeal is superb with a rich frosty sheen that accents the lovely surfaces. Brilliant cartwheel luster blooms over the high quality surfaces. A warm silver vibrance radiates in the centers. Obverse periphery is framed by a lovely blue and golden amber. The reverse is suffused with an incandescent yellow-gold color. The eye appeal is exceptional in every way, and it is a GEM of the first order! We don't see why CAC did not bean this coin, it is very high end and original. PCGS 5, NGC 9. We sold a different 1835 in MS65 for $9,988 in our September 2018 sale of the Konstantine Collection (O-103). The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $12,500.
