FROM THE BOYLSTON COLLECTION PART III A well struck and frosty near gem with full cartwheel luster and iridescent russet-gold toning. A trio of small planchet flaws as struck can be noted on the reverse. Surfaces are otherwise smooth and free of significant marks. PCGS 18, NGC 7. The value in the PCGS price guide is $5,000. Most recent auction recorded a price of $4,050 in August 2021. This early San Francisco Mint issue circulated widely and relatively few survive in mint state. Bid accordingly. Cert.
