A razor sharp B-2. Brilliant blue toning over watery mirrored copper brown patina accents both sides. The GEM quality fields are flawless and are boldly reflective. With an original mintage of about 100, this is a very popular date for type collectors looking for an example of a Proof half cent. The eye appeal is very impressive. Tied for FINEST in the BN category at both services. PCGS 4, NGC 4. The most recent NGC-graded PR66 BN sold for $6,600 in February 2020 (that coin was CAC-approved).
