THE E.D.J. SET, FROM THE EUEL DURWOOD JONES COLLECTION A totally original "PLUS" graded GEM that also boasts CAC approval. This date is conditionally challenging in GEM and RARE finer than MS65. Boasting a bold mint luster on both sides, enveloping the satiny smooth surfaces in a sensational brilliance. Wonderfully toned with variegated golden toning hugs the fields and flows into the deeply pressed incuse devices. The fields are clean, free of any distracting marks and the eye appeal is simply stunning. PCGS 249, NGC 218, CAC 55. NGC has graded just 18 in MS65+ and the most recent example sold nearly two years ago, realizing $7,800. The current Collectors Universe value is listed at $8,500.
