Losbeschreibung: Condition Census 1820 O-108 Half Dollar 1820 Capped Bust Half Dollar. O-108. Rarity-2. Square Base No Knob 2, Large Date. MS-63 (PCGS). CAC. A lovely example of the issue that ranks among the finest extant from the Overton-108 dies. Both sides are beautifully toned in dominant sandy-gold patina, the central obverse with a mottling of lighter antique silver. Peripheral cobalt blue is noted and further enhances the eye appeal. Fully struck with lively mint luster, the surfaces are smooth enough in hand to evoke thoughts of an even higher Mint State grade. Condition Census for the 1820 O-108 attribution, per the listing in the Autumn 2021 revision to Stephen J.
