1923-S Walking Liberty Half Dollar. MS-64 (PCGS). The term "above average" is very important here, for the 1923-S often comes struck as flat as a pancake at the center. The present piece, while it has areas of lightness, is certainly in the top 5% of examples we have seen in terms of visible detail. As such, it merits special attention.
