Undated (1853) Round 25 Cents. BG-221. Rarity-3. Liberty Head. MS-64 (PCGS). Bright golden-yellow surfaces with a tinge of olive. Both sides have a decidedly reflective finish in the fields. This variety appears fairly frequently in the market for a Period I California small denomination gold issue, yet is seldom found finer than offered here.
