- 1787 New Jersey copper. Maris 63-s. Rarity-2. Large Planchet. VF-30 (PCGS). 147.9 grains. Medium brown with fine, even granularity and halos of some ancient unnatural rose around design elements. Nicely centered and fairly problem free. A thin striation is noted from the star before E of E PLURIBUS across the left border of the shield toward center, where it was obliterated by the strike, then continuing to the second U of UNUM.
