1824 Capped Bust Half Dollar. O-104. Rarity-2. MS-61 (PCGS). This highly lustrous example exhibits iridescent reddish-rose peripheral toning that yields to virtual brilliance toward the centers. A plentiful die marriage of the 1824 half dollar issue with a number of Choice and Gem Uncirculated coins populating the Condition Census, attractive BU examples such as this are particularly desirable for Mint State type purposes.
