The second finest graded of this RARE Barber dime variety at PCGS. The mint employee who was putting the O mint mark on, placed it incorrectly in the horizontal axis, and realizing his mistake, rotated the punch and reapplied it. Satin-like luster blooms on both sides accenting the dove-gray and russet-tan toning. Sharply struck, the devices are very pleasing overall. COMBINED, PCGS and NGC have graded 27 examples in ALL grades. PCGS 1, NGC 0. The current Collectors Universe value is listed at $4,000. A prize for the variety specialist and worthy of a strong bid.
