Lot Description

Sharp early die state with fully denticulated borders framing bold to full design elements on both sides. Frosty surfaces are hard and tight with no significant blemishes. There is considerable mint color in vivid pinkish-rose clinging to the protected areas around many of the devices, the balance of the surfaces warmly and originally toned in medium brown and steely-copper. This is a superior example of an otherwise readily obtainable Newcomb number that, as an NGC-certified Gem, would also do nicely in a high grade Mint State type set.
