Lot 432 1837 N-1 R3 Plain Hair Cord PCGS graded MS63 Brown.Lustrous bluish steel and light olive brown. The surfaces are satiny and the eye appeal of this cent is excellent. The only notable mark is a splash of darker reddish brown toning in the field over the N in ONE. Otherwise this cent is choice. M-LDS. The die line over the F in OF is dull but visible. Our grade is MS60.The PCGS label incorrectly identifies this as a "Head of 1838" variety which has beaded hair cords. Estimate Value $500 - UP Ex Heritage (over the counter) 1/4/2011.
