Lot Description

1872-S Liberty Seated Dime. Fortin-101, the only known dies. MS-62 (PCGS). Attractive silver-gray and lustrous on the obverse with a ring of deeper blue and russet around the obverse rim, the reverse sports deeper toning of matching blue shades with orange-gold through and beyond the wreath, saving the center with bright silver. Nice surfaces overall, and the toning makes the eye appeal strong. PCGS Population: 5; 7 finer (MS-65 finest). PCGS# 4658. PCGS Population: 5; 7 finer (MS-65 finest).
