A splendid nearly superb GEM example of this strong overdate variety, clearly the loop of the 6 can be seen under the 7. The fields exhibit a bold, watery mirror finish that is quite flashy. The highly frosted reliefs are exceptionally well struck and free of any issues. A pleasing, light gold patina adds depth to the overall eye appeal. PCGS 52, NGC 28, CAC 22. This is the only NGC PR66+ CAM graded and there are a dozen higher in the CAM designation. The most recent PR66 CAM to sell was a PCGS/CAC coin that sold for $1,528 in October 2016; the month earlier, a PCGS/PR66+ CAC sold for $1,410 (that coin clearly had some slide marks or some other type of lines on the cheek).
