This is an AMAZING 1869 quarter eagle A RARE date, one of only 4,320 struck, and this one is the SECOND FINEST GRADED at either service. Immaculate quality! Truly high end and visually stunning! Razor sharp devices stand out boldly against highly reflective, semi-Prooflike lustrous fields. Brilliant yellow-gold surfaces sparkle in the light! The surfaces have some minor ticks none of which impact the visual allure in any way, and we would not be shocked if one day, this coin ends up in a higher grade holder (no guarantees). PCGS 5, NGC 1, CAC 3. This is the ONLY MS63+ graded, and PCGS has graded just a single MS64 finer. The only PCGS MS63 CAC brought nearly $13,000 back in 2015 and the MS64 sold for just shy of $20,000 back in 2014. The current Collectors Universe value is listed at $17,500 and this marvelous condition rarity belongs in the FINEST of sets, do not let it get away!
