1805 Draped Bust Half Dollar. O-105a, T-12. Rarity-6. VG-8 (PCGS). Warm dove gray toning in the fields yields to lighter silver gray over the design elements, the latter boldly outlined and fully appreciable. The 1805 Overton-105 dies are scarce in an absolute sense with late reverse die state examples, as here, rare and tentatively rated Rarity-6 by Stephen J. Herrman (Spring 2019).
