Grellman Die State a. This delightful cent exhibits billowy mint frost on smooth and appealing surfaces. The strike is full in virtually all areas and both sides are bathed in richly original reddish-rose mint color. Thanks to the dispersal of a large hoard of Choice and Gem Mint State examples, the 1855 Newcomb-4 variety is one of the most popular high grade type candidates in the Braided Hair cent series. This one is finer than most, and worthy of a strong premium.
