- 1866/1866 Shield Nickel. Rays. FS-301. Repunched Date. MS-64+ (PCGS). The date is dramatically repunched on this scarce variety, with all four of the original date numerals very clear between the new numbers. A pale greenish-gray specimen with spidery die cracks evident on both sides, and clean, unabraded surfaces. PCGS# 38314.
