Grellman Die State a. Stunning iridescent blue toning graces this one-of-a-kind large cent. Both obverse and reverse match with shimmering blue-brown surfaces and original mint red generously surrounding the devices. Marks or flaws of any sort are virtually nonexistent. Late date large cents of this condition are extremely difficult to find irrespective of date or die pairing, and the rich color and frosty surfaces that define the Widmer Family specimen from the 1852 Newcomb-5 dies are truly incredible.
