- Among the finest 1880-CC dollars certified by PCGS in the G.S.A. holder. Surprisingly clean surfaces for a coin stored among 1,000 pieces in a canvas bag for nearly a century. Mint fresh frosty surfaces are boldly lustrous and the strike is quite sharp, with just a hint of weakness on Liberty's ear and a few hair curls. Essentially untoned save for the faintest blush of toning at the upper reverse rim, this otherwise stark white example is ever so close to a Superb grade designation. A great example for any collector of G.S.A. dollars. <p>The original box and card are not included.
