Logan-McCloskey-2. Incredible cameo proof examples exist for the LM-2 die-marriage, and although the present coin certainly does not qualify, it was clearly struck off the same dies shortly after they had clashed together. The obverse offers decidedly flashy, cameo effects while the reverse appears brilliant and frosty. LM-2 is one of only three die-marriages know to have a "three pale gules" reverse, which refers to the three parallel lines within each of the vertical stripes. Light honey-brown toning splashes the obverse, and both sides are very nicely struck, aside from modestly shallow relief at the eagle's head.
