Lot Description

1836 Capped Bust Dime. JR-2. Rarity-2. MS-64+ (PCGS). CAC. Attractive silver-gray toning with dove-gray on the devices. The strike is sharp throughout and Liberty's curls and the surrounding stars are crisply defined, as are the eagle's talons. Lustrous in the field and pleasing to study. Usual bisecting obverse die crack and with a partial wire rim as is common to this variety. Certainly Condition Census at this grade level for the variety.
