1901 Barber Quarter. Proof-66 (NGC). CAC. Blushes of iridescent reddish-olive peripheral toning enliven otherwise silver-tinged surfaces. Modest cameo contrast to the finish goes unmentioned on the NGC insert and, in combination with full striking detail and a silky smooth appearance, confirms this as an exceptionally desirable Proof type candidate from the Barber quarter series.
