- Description du lot
- A lovely Choice AU example of this desirable territorial issue displaying subtle pinkish-rose highlights on dominant honey-olive color. The motifs are boldly pronounced across each side. The surfaces are quite smooth and free from abrasions, exhibiting a smooth complexion. A minor flan flaw just before 12 o'clock on the obverse is as made; the reverse is rotated more than 90 degrees counterclockwise from coin alignment. The Kagin-24 dollar with plain edge is the most frequently encountered Bechtler gold coin in numismatic circles, making it an obvious choice for the collector seeking just a single representative from this important private minting establishment.
