Superb Gem 1859 Quarter Dollar 1859 Liberty Seated Quarter. Type I/I. MS-67 (PCGS). Secure Holder. This memorable 1859 quarter is satiny and bright with just a faint hint of gold mixed into the silver surfaces. The fields and devices are virtually pristine, with no bagmarks of any size. Sharply struck too, as the lettering and devices are crisp and well defined. PCGS has awarded just two examples this lofty grade, with none seen finer of this date. The surfaces are far finer than usually seen, in fact, their level of preservation is amazing PCGS# 5448. PCGS Population: 2; none finer.
