Lot Description

An attractive, original example that has the look of an old bank hoard coin. Rich orange-gold patina blankets a satiny lustrous surface and sharply struck devices. Scattered minor ticks account for the assigned grade, but the original tone imparts a good visual effect. PCGS 105, NGC 41. The most recent MS63 to sell in auction was graded by NGC and brought $2,160 in the 2019 ANA auction.
