Very cool coin. Struck from the HM-1 die pairing, considered to be Rarity-3, and in such a lofty CHOICE Mint State quality, this is a very challenging coin to find! Strongly semi-prooflike surfaces blaze from all over. Only when using a strong glass can you find some tiny, scattered ticks. Nothing is big or serious. The coin looks clean to the naked eye. Incredibly this coin actually has original toning. Overall, the coins color is a totally original deeper gold which gives this beauty a unique and very high end look! Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck. The eye appeal is neat! PCGS 49, NGC 33, CAC 15. We could not find any record of a similar coin selling via auction, though back in December 2021, we sold an untoned example for $19,965. The current Collectors Universe value is $20,000. Do NOT be fooled by the pops, these do not appear frequently-and the ones that do, certainly do not have color! Cert. Number 5904437 PCGS # 8171
