Lot Description

1920-D Mercury Dime. MS-64 FB (NGC). An exceptional near-Gem example of this Denver Mint Mercury dime issue, with sharp striking definition and gleaming, satiny mint luster. A small degree of fadeaway is noted on the tops of some of the reverse peripheral letters. Both sides are remarkably clean and blemish-free. Some russet-brown mottling is noted on the right side of the reverse.
