Lot Description

Ms. Anna's Collection. Overtion-102 shows a curious pattern of crosshatch die lines at the obverse center, and even with twenty points of circulation, this example shows all the signs of an early strike off of perfect dies, as the eagle's plumage shows all of the as-struck intricacy not found on later dies. Apparently an original example, the surface exults inside a layer of graphite-grey and charcoal accents.
