A well-struck, original example from a low mintage of just 470 proofs struck during this Civil War year. Evenly toned with steely-silver gray color, yet still retains its mirrors nicely. Undertones of purple and blue add to the wonderful eye appeal. CAC approved as high end for the given grade.
