1840 Braided Hair Cent. N-5. Rarity-1. Large Date. MS-63 BN (PCGS). A lustrous steel-brown cent with strong cartwheel luster thanks to both the high state of preservation and the flowlines in the fields associated with the advanced die state. The pleasing surfaces have a predominantly frosty texture and show only tiny abrasions under magnification.
