Frosty olive-gold surfaces are bright and visually pleasing. A touch of softness is confined to Liberty's brow and the opposite area on the reverse, but otherwise we note razor sharp to full strike detail throughout the design. This is the premier issue in the brief and historically significant Classic Head half eagle series, survivors popular for type purposes in all grades.
