Mint Set fresh! This coin has the classic, original looks of a coin from the old mint set holders, both sides graced with a dappled gold and russet patina on both sides. Generally well struck on both sides, crisp enough for the FBL designation and CAC to approve it. Perhaps at one time, it became loose in the mint set holder, as there are some traces of contact, nothing too serious, under the toning. The eye appeal is good. PCGS 237, NGC 57, CAC 56. There are 44 in MS66+ FBL and just a dozen graded finer. The most recent PCGS MS66+ FBL to sell was not CAC approved and brought $2,040. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $1,900.
