1853 Braided Hair Cent. N-17. Rarity-2. Grellman State-a. MS-65 BN (PCGS). Lovely steel brown with faded red blended into the fields and strong mint luster. A very attractive early die state coin with a nuance of prooflike quality in the fields. A couple of small rim nicks have little effect on the overall appeal. EAC:MS62 PCGS# 406018.
