A truly impressive and Premium Quality GEM that borders on the SUPERB category. Intensely brilliant cartwheel luster swirls on both sides accenting the azure and tangerine peripheral toning. This is a date that was represented in the massive Redfield Hoard, the toning pattern and coloration suggests that this coin was once a part of that massive silver dollar holding. Well struck with bold devices, this coin is just a microscopic tick or two from a SUPERB grade. PCGS 136, NGC 25, CAC 40. There are 22 in MS66+ and none have sold in nearly two years.
