- Simply outstanding end-of-roll toning in fiery rose-red and warmer olive-gold and sunset-orange colors blankets the obverse of this stunning Gem. Adding immensely to the desirability of this offering is that it includes the original paper roll in which this coin was stored for all those years that it was acquiring the obverse toning. The roll is marked FEDERAL RESERVE BANK / OF KANSAS CITY / OKLAHOMA CITY BRANCH / $10 HALVES / BRAND / WATERTOWN, WIS US. One end of the roll has been opened, the other remains crimped, and it is in excellent condition. A rare and unusual offering that will see spirited bidding from both advanced Franklin half dollar collectors and toning enthusiasts. (Total: 1 coin; 1 paper roll)
