You’ve worked hard to maintain a level of excellence with your PCGS Set Registry. We want to make sure the badges you earn pay proper homage to the commitment and dedication you’ve given the hobby over the years.

Starting Tuesday, October 6, freshly redesigned Set Registry Awards badges will go live on every award-winning account.

What does this mean for you?

To begin with, the updated badges will reflect the beauty and elegance you’ve come to expect from PCGS. We're introducing sleek new looks for the Hall of Fame, Best of the Registry, Gold Award, and Platinum Award badges—along with a specially designed gold and black badge to honor collections built around our 40th Anniversary celebration this year. The brand new 40th anniversary badges will be added to the winning sets in the coming weeks.

In addition, rather than add an entirely new badge for each year you earn a certain award, we have implemented a “counter” system that displays the number of times you’ve won a particular badge.

For example, if your set displayed multiple Best of the Registry badges in the past, you now will see one blue badge decorated with a star, a trophy icon, and the number of times you’ve won that award embedded within your badge.

The embedded number contributes to a cleaner, more contemporary appearance for your page while emphasizing the consistent excellence of multi-year winners.

The new badges will update system-wide, automatically replacing the badges that previously adorned Set Registry accounts. This change will not affect the achievement medals Set Registry participants have received, which are distinct from the Set Registry Awards.
