- 1811 Capped Bust Half Dollar. O-108. Rarity-2. Small 8. AU-58 (PCGS). Near-fully lustrous surfaces are attractively toned in iridescent gold, blushes of warmer tinting here and there around the peripheries. The reverse is rotated nearly 45 degrees clockwise from normal coin alignment. Early date Capped Bust half dollars such as the 1811 can be challenging to locate in the finest circulated grades, especially with the eye appeal offered here. PCGS# 6097.
