- 1891 Liberty Head Quarter Eagle. Proof-62 Cameo (PCGS). Fully defined with a soft satin texture, the devices contrast nicely with mirrored fields. Warm medium gold patina blankets surfaces that would probably have secured a Choice grade were it not for a concentration of wispy hairlines in the left obverse field. The rare Proof 1891 quarter eagle has an extant population of no more than 40 coins from a mintage of 80 pieces. PCGS# 87917. NGC ID: 288E.
