- An incredible example, ranked at the very peak of the Census, with none graded higher at either NGC or PCGS. Authorized by an Act of Congress dated March 31, 1936. The maximum allowed mintage of 15,000 was achieved by issuing 5,000 examples from Philadelphia, Denver, and San Francisco, and sold in sets of three at a cost of $7.75 per set. The surfaces of this magnificent example are pristine, free of any distracting marks of any kind. Icy satin luster provide a shimmering brilliance on both sides. Essentially untoned, save for the faintest trace of champagne gold, this is a bound for the finest of sets!
