Despite a huge mintage, the 1963 nickel is quite RARE in such a lofty state of preservation with just a half dozen graded MS66+ FS or finer. This well struck and satiny GEM has a soft iridescent sheen over bold, lustrous surfaces. Clean and free of distracting marks, this one ranks high up on the Population Report and is a great Registry Set contender. PCGS 4, NGC 0. The last one sold for $1,175 in our December 2019 Regency Auction, and we sold another in September 2019 for $1,704. The current Collectors Universe value is listed at $2,000.
