- Tompkins Die Stage 1/4, Rea et al. Die State c, Rarity-6. This is the retained cud die state of the 1825 Browning-2 quarter, one of the two rarest for this variety. The other is the controversial Tompkins Die Stage 1/5, Rea et al. Die State d, an example of which is offered below. This piece is warmly and originally toned with circulated cameo contrast between steel gray fields and dove gray motifs.
