- The Mastodon Collection. Significant smoke-grey toning wafts over the surface, settling more thickly on the obverse than the reverse, but it no way does it obscure compelling luster. The obverse seems reasonably well struck except for a couple of stars, while the reverse shows definite indistinctness along the right side of the eagle's neck and at the corresponding juncture of the wing below.
