Lot Description

1800 Draped Bust Cent. S-193. Rarity-4. Noyes Die State B. 80/79, Style II Hair. VF-25 BN (NGC). Medium chocolate brown with no marks to assail the unaided eye though low magnification picks up some faint microporosity here and there and an old, shallow scrape that is well-hidden in the date area. A popular overdate from the early years at the MInt in Philadelphia with the details plain to the unassisted eye. Reverse die clashed at ICA with RTY from the obverse prominently displayed there. Finer in-hand than our description might imply.
