Lot Description

Overshadowed by the legendary condition rarity that is the 1884-S, the 1883-S also numbers among the scarcer and more conditionally challenged issues in the early San Francisco Mint Morgan dollar series. This is a lovely BU example with lively mint luster and soft pinkish-russet iridescence that appears to drift toward the borders.
