Noyes Die State B/A. Really a lovely example, lustrous satin surfaces are evenly toned in medium brown on the reverse, obverse with steely copper-blue patina and faded rose-red mint color nestled around and within many of the design elements. The texture is expectably smooth for the assigned grade, a faint carbon spot at the top of Liberty's head seemingly the only impediment to an MS-66 numeric grade. With a sharp strike and overall crisp appearance, as well, even the most discerning collectors will find much to admire in this premium Gem Matron Head cent. Great high grade type coin!
