Lot Description

The SOLE GOLD CAC stickered 1918-D in any grade! A nice example of this early date Mercury dime. Struck from a later die state with bold clashing seen on both sides, which likely led to the somewhat incomplete definition on the central band. A rich, frosty luster shines across the surfaces, and the only mark we make note of, is a short one on the cheek. PCGS 82, NGC 76, CAC GOLD 1. The CAC CPG value in MS63 is $437 and $562 in MS64; the PCGS Price Guide in those values is $350 and $475, respectively. Cert. Number 2407954 PCGS # 4918
