Lot Description

With brilliant, lustrous, BU-quality surfaces, this coin looks like the typical 1859-O or 1860-O silver dollar from the Treasury Department releases of the mid-1960s. Traditional numismatic wisdom has it that some Mint State examples of the 1871 were also found in the same source, but regardless, this issue is the most readily obtainable from the Motto portion of the Liberty Seated series. Sharply struck and visually appealing.
