A glorious Superb Gem Uncirculated coin to represent this one year design type in the Lincoln cent series. Satiny surfaces are aglow with full, vivid mint colors in bright orange and pinkish-rose. Both sides are expertly preserved and border on pristine. With the key date 1909-S V.D.B. more costly at all grade levels, its Philadelphia Mint counterpart is the preferred type candidate for collectors seeking an example with the designer's initials displayed along the lower reverse border. Coins in the finest Mint State grades are ideal for this purpose, and this one is especially nice.
